Home to Home Placement Program

Animal Friends is pleased to offer an alternative adoption option: the Home-to-Home placement program (H2H). The H2H placement program was designed for those individuals and families who, finding it necessary to give up their beloved pets for adoption, want to take a more active role in the adoption process.

Under H2H, owners have the benefit of meeting, screening and making adoption decisions. Potential adopters have the benefit of one-on-one interactions with the current owners in order to obtain firsthand information about the animal’s likes, dislikes and other characteristics. The H2H placement program also allows Animal Friends to help more animals in the community, even when our kennels are full. At its very core, this program helps bring together owners and adopters, on their own terms, in their own communities.

The following animals are living in homes while their owners search for permanent families for these pets. We encourage you to consider these pets while you look for your new companion animal. If any of these pets seem like a perfect match, please contact the current owners, which are identified with each featured pet.

Please note: The featured animals are being made available for adoption by members of the community. Animal Friends cannot accept responsibility for the adoptions conducted through contacts made via this page.
