Animal Friends is not affiliated with any other local or national animal organizations, and relies solely on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and foundations.

We are happy to mail a keepsake card to let someone know that you have made a gift in honor or in memory of a special person or pet. To make a tribute donation now, click here or call 412.847.7052. (Be sure to read our tribute policy: Sometimes, an honoree will request the address of a tribute donor so that they may send a thank you note to the donor. We are happy to honor their request unless a donor specifies otherwise.)

Our Faithful Friends are a special group of people who have committed to automatic monthly donations. Year-long sponsorships are available for Animal Friends' dog suites, cat condos, and rabbit residences. Your meaningful, tax-deductible sponsorship will help underwrite the cost of care for the animals that live in your sponsored space. Your donation will be recognized with a plaque inscribed with a message of your choice. Your plaque will be placed on the sponsored space and can be updated each year. Click here to sponsor a cage.

The Parker Frangos Fund at Animal Friends
To help ease the financial burden of specific, special-needs pet adoptions, Animal Friends places a medical addendum in the pets’ adoption contracts. We provide some ongoing support to the adopters of these of these pets so that prospective adopters are able to take a second look at the animals that bring extra expenses with their lifelong care. Michelle Frangos, a longtime supporter of Animal Friends’ mission, understands that the pets that need us the most—the injured or the sick—can be the most loving companions. She established the Parker Frangos Fund at Animal Friends to create resources for the medical addendums in our adoption contracts. Click here to give a donation to this fund now.

Donate Your Old Cell Phones and Printer Cartridges
For each used cartridge or cell phone you bring to Animal Friends, our Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Program receives cash back to subsidize spay/neuter surgeries for pets. Consider starting a cartridge drive at your workplace by spreading the word to co-workers and friends! Items may be dropped off at Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
