Join Animal Friends, with DVE’s Jimmy Krenn and DelMonte Pet Products, at Bark in the Park on Sunday, August 22 at North Park’s South Ridge Loop!
Bring the whole family—especially the pooch!—for the biggest and best dog party of the year.
Fetch pledges and walk in honor or in memory of a pet on the 1.5-mile Humane Hike. All proceeds benefit Animal Friends' innovative pet-focused programming!
Registation
We will be accepting walk-up registrations. (Online registration is now closed.)
Registration opens at 8:30 am. Join us for the welcome at 9:15 am. The Humane Hike leaves at 9:30.
No admittance after 10:30am.
Rain or shine, we're having a blast!
Registration donations vary:

Age 16 and up: $30 (receive a t-shirt and swag bag)

Age 16 and up: $25 (receive a swag bag).

Kids 15 and under: free! (or with a t-shirt for $5).
Your Bark itinerary
WDVE’s comedian extraordinaire Jimmy Krenn will head up the pledge walk and party. Head back for tons of fun:
- Arrive and register amidst the bright lights of this star-studded event!
- Take a walk down the Pup-arazzi Photo opp lane.
- Visit the Hotel for Dogs (Animal Friends' alumni tent) to receive a special gift for your alum.
- Enjoy Hollywood entertainment in the likes of Frank Sinatra and Neil Diamond.
- Hit "Ro-dog-o" Drive and shop ‘till you drop at the vendor tables.
- Cool down at the Beverly "Woof"shire water park.
- Have your own Pretty Woman love connection at the Meet Your Match adoption tent.
- Pamper your pooch at the Golden Era Spa.
- Enjoy raffles, food, games and more!
Driving Directions
We'll see you at North Park's South Ridge Loop. If you check out North Park's official maps (Part 1 and Part 2), you'll find South Ridge Loop on the upper right corner, near the swimming pool.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM DOWNTOWN PITTSBURGH:
Get onto I-279N.
Merge onto McKnight Road via Exit 11. (Stay on McKnight Road for 4.2 miles.)
Make a slight right onto Peebles Rd. (Stay on Peebels for about 3 miles.)
Make a slight left at Hemlock Drive.
Turn right at S Ridge Drive. Look for Animal Friends signs and volunteers to guide you to parking at Woods Field close to the event.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM NORTH OF THE CITY:
Merge onto McKnight Road.
Turn left at Cumberland Road.
Turn left at Babcock Boulevard.
Make a slight right at Hemlock Drive.
Make a slight left at South Ridge Drive.
Turn left to stay on South Ridge Drive. Look for Animal Friends signs and volunteers to guide you to parking at Woods Field close to the event.
