Be Kind to Animal Week open house reception

The artists of the winning posters (first place and honorable mention) will be invited, along with their family, to attend our invitation-only reception held during national Be Kind to Animals Week in May. Guests can see their artwork displayed (which will be featured at Animal Friends through the end of 2014), enjoy refreshments, and participate in special activities.

At the 2013 reception, guests participated in photo shoots with our Humane Education dogs, met our Humane Investigations officer, and met some of our bunnies. Some guests even helped us by appearing in our filming of Animal Friends’ first Humane Education video: “Teach My Person How to Love Me.”

Invited guests also include our student fundraisers who participate in our Kind Kids program.
