’43 Friends

We’re searching for Pittsburgh’s most compassionate people – and the pets they love – to join our 2021 class of ’43 Friends! Nominate yourself or another animal lover (and their four-legged friend, of course!) to raise funds as a member of this year’s class of honorees.

’43 Friends began as a way to honor Animal Friends’ founding in 1943. This dedicated group with a commitment to giving back will engage their community this summer while raising critical funds to support Animal Friends’ lifesaving mission.

Nominations are open!

And, we want your four-legged friend to be at the forefront of your fundraising efforts! Every animal has a story to tell … share yours with friends, family and neighbors to show why Animal Friends’ mission is so close to your heart.
