Our Howard Ash Animal Wellness Center is not simply a building – but rather a region-wide commitment to supporting pet owners who have the desire to keep their pets healthy and compliant with the law, but not the financial means to do so. From filling empty bowls to providing low-cost pet care or providing a second chance to pets who have been abused or neglected, our Animal Wellness Center is improving communities and saving lives.
With a fully equipped public spay/neuter clinic, we’re furthering our commitment to ending the cost and suffering of pet overpopulation. And, with low-cost vaccines and wellness services, we’re making it affordable for low-income families to keep their pets healthy, even during difficult times.
Our highly demanded Chow Wagon Pet Food Bank has grown thanks to additional storage space and drop-off/pick-up area that ensures donated food is quickly distributed to local food pantries where it is needed most.
The lower level of our Animal Wellness Center is home to our Humane Investigations program which has been strengthened by more streamlined and effective workspaces for our officers as well as proper storage for critical case evidence.
But, all of these critical services aren’t possible without the support of our community. Help us continue to provide these lifesaving programs to the pets and people of our region who need them most. Please, give generously.
