Starr
Meet the brightest Starr in the sky! Starr originally came to Animal Friends in the spring of 2021 as part of a Humane Investigations case. Since her arrival, she has spent a majority of her time in a loving foster home where she has been getting the one-on-one attention she needs. According to her foster she is a beautiful, gentle and loving lady. She loves to be petted, especially around the ears and is content in a calm and peaceful environment. Starr can still be shy and timid, but needs all the love and attention she can get! She enjoys spending time sunbathing and would enjoy a family who would help her feel safe and comfortable.
Starr has a medical condition that causes her to experience seizures. This condition is being regulated by specific medication and with a routine that needs to be followed. This has also caused Starr to have more limited eyesight and sometimes she needs help navigating new environments. Due to the extent of her condition, Animal Friends is recommending that Starr finds a family who is familiar with seizures in dogs or other extensive medical conditions. Starr has come a long way and we are incredibly proud of the progress she has made and the bravery she has shown throughout her time in her foster home. We know her new family is out there … is it you?
