Black Tie & Tails: “Rescue Me” Challenge

Our Humane Society Police Officers are lifesavers.

In just the first six months of 2022, our team of experienced officers have responded to a staggering 245 cases of animal abuse and neglect, and affected the lives of 924 animals – a 120% increase over 2021.

People are struggling in our communities and the effect is being seen in the care – and sometimes fate – of far too many pets.

While resources and support are always our first response, reports of animal hoarding, lack of vet care and neglect have skyrocketed. Our officers are in demand now more than ever.

And, right now, your support has never been more critical … and meaningful.

Today through September 30, your gift to Animal Friends will have an even greater impact during our “Rescue Me” Challenge. Thanks to the generosity of local business leader and animal advocate Bob Fragasso, each donation will be matched – 50 cents on the dollar up to $100,000 – to provide intervention, safe haven and a voice for animals who are desperately in need of rescue and a second chance.

Please, give generously.
