Join us to get an early start to Memorial Day Weekend and to learn about Animal Friends for Veterans, a comprehensive and customizable shelter program that serves veterans and their beloved animal companions. You will have the opportunity to meet with Animal Friends program providers and to connect with veteran community contacts.

The Vietnam Veterans Honor Guard will be present for a ceremonial kick off of the event, followed by a presentation by Mary Papik, PhD, an Army veteran and Animal Friends volunteer. And, Animal Friends Therapets therapy dogs will be on site to mingle with guests.

Light picnic fare will be served by our friends at Bistro to Go and Kona Ice will be on site 2-3 p.m.

We hope you will join us to commemorate Memorial Day, share an afternoon of camaraderie and learn more about this life-changing program.
