Aurora (Rory) walked into our lives November of 2022. She was found without tags or a chip. We posted everywhere without results. In the interim, we got her to the vet got her microchipped, spayed and her vaccinations up to date, to give her the best life she could have. Rory is very cuddly, loves to give hugs and she knows how to control her licker. She obeys come, leave it, drop it, sit and give paw. She does not beg, but enjoys a good treat with gentility. Rory loves love! She can “play by herself” with a toy or enjoys hopping around the enclosed yard. She is completely housebroken and she will come to you and tell you if she needs to go out. She is not mischievous, she does not go into the garbage or on the table. Unfortunately, she is a little spoiled in the fact that she is allowed on our couches and sleeps with me. So if that’s something you do not want her to do, you’ll need to make that a rule as soon as she comes home with you. She is very trainable. All of our dogs (4) with Rory and the reason we need to find her a new home, are free fed. I fill the bowls when they are empty and they all maintain their proper weight. She just has happy written all over her face. She is good with other dogs but would prefer to be the only one getting attention. I’ve never tested her with small children or other pets.
