Home-to-Home Adoption Program: Willow

Willow is friendly with everyone … adults, children/babies, other dogs and even strangers! She is not a “talker” like some huskies, however she likes to express herself with a howl occasionally when she is excited or wants your attention. Willow loves to be out and on the go! She is eager to find a good home with a big fenced-in yard and lots of room to run! Willow loves car rides and going to the groomer, as well. Willow knows several commands including sit, down, speak, touch and wait (sometimes). She is definitely more motivated to engage in tricks when you have treats!

Now let’s hear from Willow …

An interview with Willow:

Q: How would you describe your body type? And, what is your best feature?
A: A lady never tells! But if I must, I would say I am a little on the husky side with fluffy well-kempt fur. My best feature are my baby blues of course!

Q: What constitutes a perfect day for you?
A: A morning jog, followed by my typical breakfast (Blue Wilderness-Chicken flavor). Next, off to the park for more running and playing. Don’t forget the treats! Then a nap in my comfy crate with my stuffed animals, followed by a little bit of play-time with the family. I’m pretty independent so I love me-time too. Finally, an evening walk and more treats!

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?
A: I can be anything, 6 is the new 2!

Q: What’s your favorite season?
A: Winter for sure. I love to roll, dig and lay in snow piles. I really enjoy eating ice chunks too!

Q: Favorite guilty pleasure?
A: Ice cream and hot dogs. But I have a hard time resisting paper plates, snacks that are left on the counter and socks. Off the record, please.
