We accept reservations for tours and presentations at Animal Friends for student groups of 5-30 students (grades K-12). Please be sure to read our tour guidelines before scheduling your visit.
What the visit includes (75 minutes):
- How Animal Friends helps animals
- Dog safety lesson
- Petting opportunity with a certified therapy dog
- Bunny feeding (depending on your time slot)
- Guided tour of the adoptable animals
- Importance of spaying/neutering (grades 3+)
Additional options for grades 5-12:
- Enrichment Workshop – make gifts for the animals and learn how the gifts meet the animals’ needs
- Career Exploration – learn about the skills and education needed to work with animals as a career
• Groups of 5-20 students must bring 2-5 chaperones.
• Groups of 21-30 students must bring 3-9 chaperones.
If you are a pre-K group, we’ll visit your classroom with a therapy dog. Our free 30-minute dog safety presentations are loved by kids and teachers! Preschool teachers can submit a request.

Monetary donations are also welcome via our Kind Kids program. Kind Kids get to name an animal for every $75 donated.

Virtual Field Trips
We are offering 15-30-minute virtual field trips for grades PreK-12. Students will enjoy a guided tour of our adoptable cats and rabbits, meet a featured adoptable animal via the monitor and participate in Q and A time. Virtual field trips are available from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Donation Drop-off Appointments
Groups of 1-12 students may schedule a free, 30-minute Donation Drop-off Appointment by clicking here. The appointment includes a guided tour, certificate, and photo opportunity (but not a dog safety lesson or petting opportunity).
