Seventy years ago, our founders dreamed of a bright future for Animal Friends. Today, thanks to their vision—and their financial commitment to our mission—our organization stands at the forefront of animal welfare in our region. You too can make an important investment in Animal Friends’ future.
Did you know that Animal Friends’ lifesaving work has been made possible largely because of bequests? These gifts came from special people who believed in the work that we do on behalf of animals. Because these individuals included our shelter in their wills, Animal Friends is able to ensure that their values are upheld for future generations.
Planned giving, which includes bequests, charitable trusts, gifts of stock, and gifts of life insurance, is a vital part of our success, and allows donors to leave a lasting legacy. Naming Animal Friends in your will might enable you to make a larger donation than you thought possible. And, there are personal tax advantages to supporting non-profit organizations with planned gifts.
