Human Training Classes
The excitement of preparing for the arrival of a baby should not be dampened by concerns about your pets’ reactions. With some planning, preparation and training, introducing your newest family member to your pet can be very successful and rewarding. The Baby-Ready Pets Workshop will assist you in making the preparations for these introductions. This is a people-only class. Please leave your pets at home. Seating is limited and advance RSVP is required.

Pet CPR and First Aid
This class will teach you the life-saving skills and knowledge that will enable you to be there for your pets when they need you the most! Topics include, but not limited to, rescue breathing, bleeding protocols, choking management, heat/cold injuries, bites, stings, poisoning, seizures, fractures and limb injuries. Class size limited to 15 students to allow for individualized instruction. Certification provided upon completion of the class. This is a people-only class. Please leave your pets at home.

Canine Massage Therapy
No live dogs for this workshop, please. Bring a stuffed dog to use for training purposes. Class size is limited to 12 students. Who doesn’t love a great massage? Now you can learn to give your prince or princess the extra pampering they deserve, as well as provide all the wonderful benefits that massage can offer. Not only does a massage increase the bond between you and your four-footed friend, but it can also help with relaxation, help your dog to learn to build trust, increase flexibility, make the coat shine and improve your dog’s overall sense of well-being. Grab a stuffed animal and join us for a fun, relaxing class as you learn the basic techniques that will have your favorite canine eating out of your hand! Please leave your canine family member at home.

DOGA: Yoga for Your Dog and You
Canine attendees should be both people- and dog-friendly to participate. Dogs are natural yogis! They live in the moment, they breathe from their bellies and they stretch immediately upon waking! Deepen your connection with your dog in this fun class. Class will include a walking meditation, human and canine yoga poses, doggie-massage and meditation. Please bring a large beach towel, treats, leash and a willingness to learn. Prior yoga experience not required. Space is limited; advance registration required.
