Meet Zip! This 5-year-old boy came to Animal Friends through our Humane Investigations Team for too many dogs in the home. Shortly after Zip arrived here, we realized that he was a bit of a nervous boy who was not comfortable with walking outside with a leash on. Our behavior department worked closely with him on making him feel more comfortable with his handling and walking outside. As Zip is still learning basic dog manners, an adopter should be comfortable with continuing positive reinforcement training and his leash manners. Zip’s ideal home would be with children 13 years and older, no cats but could potentially live with another dog, pending a successful meet and greet. If interested,
