Bagel
Meet Bagel! This 1-year-old pup came to Animal Friends after being found in an abandoned building with his 3 siblings as a stray! Bagel is high energy and would definitely benefit from continues positives reinforcement training and leash manners. Bagel can get overstimulated with too much handling which leads him being jumpy/mouthy, because of this Bagel is recommended in a home with children 13 years and older. Bagel may also be able to live with another dog, pending a successful meet and greet! He can also live with cats!
Bagel is also a part of our SCI Fayette Training Program, which means he is currently residing off campus at the Fayette State Correctional Institution where he is living with selected inmates. While there, Bagel enjoys enrichment activities, positive reinforcement and force-free training. Basically, he lives full time with his new best friends and learns manners to better prepare him for you–his future family!
