Planning for Companion Animals in Clients’ Will and Trusts

Thursday, Oct 15, 2020 | 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Animal Friends in partnership with the Allegheny Bar Association presents Planning for Companion Animals in Clients’ Will and Trusts.

Course Description:
67% of U.S. families have companion animals in their homes but few have prepared an estate plan for their four-legged family members in the case of owner death or disability. Pets are usually assumed to be left to family members, but what if they can’t accommodate the pet in their home or the decedent has no close family? This one hour CLE course will prepare you to better help your clients assure the future for their animal companions.

Presenters:
Kathleen Beaver, President & CEO, Animal Friends, Inc.
Robert Fragasso, CFP, AIF, CEO Fragasso Financial Advisors, Inc.

Cost:
$35 for ACBA members
$60 for non ACBA members
