Pet Photos and Bake Sale

Head over to our bake sale to stock up on tasty cakes, cookies and dessert rolls for your Thanksgiving celebration. Plus, Santa will be posing for photos for the whole family--including the pet! Three 4"x6" photos are just $10 and will be mailed to you after the event. Proceeds benefit Animal Friends.

Breakfast with Santa and Holidays with Heart
Pancakes, sausage links, eggs and fruit are on the menu for a scrumptious breakfast with Santa Claus! Adults can join us for $6; Children under 10, for $4. Reservations are required by calling 412.847.7055.
After breakfast, take part in our annual Holidays with Heart extravaganza. Join other pet lovers to create special holiday crafts for your pet. There are several items to choose from at varying skill levels that are suitable for canine, feline or rabbit family members. Gifts for people will also be available through vendors such as Party Light, Mary Kay, Tastefully Simple and Silpada. Portions of the proceeds benefit Animal Friends. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Vendors subject to change. Items range from $2 and up.
Pet Photos by Natalie - SOLD OUT
THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT. Looking for professional photos and a comfortable environment for your pet? Animal Friends is proud to offer processional-style photos by our talented photographer, Natalie. For $40, each guest will receive a private, 20-minute photo session. Your pet will relax without the distractions of other excited pets in our Wellness Suite. Natalie will snap dozens of photos to ensure the perfect shot. After your session, you will sit down and choose your two most treasured photos, which Animal Friends will develop and mail to your home. Bark & Brew at the Hop House
The Bark-n-Brews are back by popular demand and our first stop is The Hop House in the North Hills! The $5 cover gets you a free appetizer (exclusions apply), all you can eat pasta for $7.99 and $2.50 Coronas! Enjoy a raffle and special appearances by some of our adoptable dogs. No need to register, just show up and bring your family and friends. This event is limited to Animal Friends dogs only, no guest pets allowed. Our dogs look forward to barking the night away with you!
Paws and Pours: Black and Gold Brew (21+ only)
Bring your pooch and come dressed in your favorite black and gold sportswear to share an evening of fun with other football, baseball and hockey enthusiasts! The night’s activities include a raffle, sports food favorites and a beer sampling. While you socialize, your 4-legged guests will romp around our Outreach Center and play with their canine friends. Registration is required by calling 412.847.7055 as space is limited. This event is for anyone 21 years of age or older. We request a donation of $20 per person. (Four-legged guests are free.)
Spay Day USA SPAY-Ghetti Lunch at Animal Friends
Join us for lunch! Animal Friends invites you to join us in the fight to end pet overpopulation by supporting Spay Day USA! This national day of awareness is sponsored by the Humane Society of the United States in an effort to spotlight the fact that more than four million pets euthanized in shelters in the US each year. Spay/neuter is the only proactive way to reduce the numbers of animals who die homeless.
Animal Friends’ Spay Day USA Spay-Ghetti Lunch is a time to gather and support our Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Program. We’ll serve lunch by Del’s: fresh garden salad (Italian or Ranch dressing), SPAY-ghetti with marinara sauce or sauce and meatballs, Italian bread and butter and a chocolate chip cookie for dessert.

Alley Up at Legacy Lanes Golden Rule Bar & Grill

What’s better than an evening of funny-looking bowling shoes and the smashing strike of the pins? It’s made better by the company of some of Pittsburgh’s most adorable, adoptable canines. Join us for the sixth annual Alley Up for Animal Friends! Tickets include a free t-shirt and door prize ticket along with raffles and a special appearance by Cris Winter from WISH radio. Not a bowler? No problem! Stop by anyway, make a $5 donation at the door, enjoy beer specials, watch the bowling in progress and mingle with our adoptable pups. Legacy Lanes has a full stocked bar with many amenities. This event was so popular last year that we’ve added a second session!
We request a donation of $25 per person or $105 for a group of 5 bowlers. (Includes t-shirt, 3 games of bowling, shoe and ball rental as well as pizza and pitcher of soda per lane!
Not a bowler? Join us anyway! Tuition: $5 donation requested at the door.
The VIP Bowling Room is available for $50 per person or $205 for a group of 5 bowlers. (Price includes 3 games of bowling, shoe and ball rental as well as a buffet-style veggie tray, Ziti with meat sauce and rolls plus two pitchers of beer for each lane and a free t-shirt !)

Love is in the air! Join us with your four-legged love, two-legged love or both for an evening of wine tasting and spaghetti and meatballs followed by Lady and the Tramp. Bring a blanket, pillow and anything else you need to get comfy for the movie. Registration is required by February 8 by calling 412.847.7055. This event is for anyone over 21 years of age or older. We request a donation of $30 per person. (Four-legged guests are free.)

We’re keeping all your favorite parts of this upscale bingo, including the delicious dinner and open bar, fabulous prizes, and celebrity callers Sally Wiggin and PJ Maloney, and giving the event a whole new look and location! Tickets will go on sale online closer to the event, so watch this space!
