Mamacat is a sweet and loving girl who was found as a stray by her current family. Her fosters originally thought she was going to be a case of Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return, but she quickly made it clear that she was much happier indoors!
This pretty cat got her name because she had a litter of kittens last year who had been rescued. After spending another year outside, her foster family wasn’t sure if she would enjoy the company of people. But, they soon realized that she’s one of the sweetest, most gentle cats. They believe Mamacat is about 2 years old and – aside from an old injury to her tail that doesn’t seem to cause her any discomfort – she’s in wonderful health!
Mamacat can be shy, but warms up to new people very quickly (especially when food is involved)! Once she trusts someone, she loves being petting and giving gentle, headbutts to show her affection. On occasion, she’ll enjoy being picked up and held – but like many cats, it is on her terms.
During the time she’s spent with her foster family, Mamacat has never used her claws or teeth aggressively (including while being bathed). Mamacat is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, has tested negative for FeLV/FIV, has been treated for parasites, fleas, ear mites and has had her first round of vaccines. She is fully litterbox trained and is ready to find her new home so she can share her love and affection with a family of her own!
